The start

I have been following several blogs this past year. It has been so refreshing, challenging, inspiring and so much more. I have learned new things, some of these I have applied and some I cant wait to start.
As it's the start of a new year, I have decided it will be a good time to start with my one frame a day.
Usually I get really excited about something, I start and half way through it gets really dull  and the excitement transforms into an obligation just to finish it up. No joy in there, so I might as well give up. I hope this project will be different. One, because I love photography. Two, It will challenge me to get photos when I don't feel like it, or when things seem ordinary and mundane, to search out the extraordinary in them. I'm up for the challenge. I want to capture snaps of my family every day for 2011, starting today. I have a few rules, it doesn't have to be the perfect picture, in fact it can be taken with my phone if I don't have my heavy DSRL with me, or a smaller compact camera. It needs to capture the moment I want to remember. The expression, no worrying about the perfect exposure, composition,etc..but I'm expecting to capture some real magic this year!

 January 1st. Lemmy's first hair cut. At exactly 1 day away of being 2 years and a half!! I love his baby hair and I will missed some of it! Hopefully will be growing quickly and stronger!
